How to take your form live when you're ready to accept payments

Updated over a week ago

Turning off Test Mode is relatively simple - there are but 3 steps:

Step 1 - Open your Google Form in Edit Mode

Go to https://forms.google.com while logged in only as the installer of the Payable add-on, and open your form in Edit mode.

If you regularly work with multiple Google accounts we recommend using Chrome profiles to keep your passwords and saved data separate. Learn how to set profiles up here.

If you do not use Chrome profiles we suggest working on your form in an incognito browser window, signed in only to the installer account of the Payable add-on. Google products with an add-on installed on it may only be managed by the installer account, so you may experience interference if working in a browser with multiple active Google logins.

Step 2 - Re-open the Payable sidebar

Look for the puzzle piece icon in the top header toolbar to re-open your add-ons menu.

Click the Add-Ons puzzle piece, then Payable Forms

Click Configure Payment Settings in the Payable add-ons menu

Step 3 - Turn off Test Mode in the sidebar

The Payable Forms sidebar will open; under Configuration Options set Testing Mode to Off - Real Money.

If you receive an error at this point, or you have turned off test mode but your orders still generate as such, it is most likely due to multiple Google Accounts being logged into the same browser, or a mismatch of the original Installer account and the one you are using now. In this instance please open an incognito browser window, sign in only to your form's Google account, open your form and try again.

To open a private/incognito browser window -
Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS: Press Ctrl + Shift + n.
Mac: Press โŒ˜ + Shift + n.
