We review the different data available inside your Square Dashboard for payments created using Payable Apps.

Accessing the Square Seller Dashboard

If you are a seller that has connected your Square account to Payable Apps to receive payments, you access your seller dashboard by logging in with the same email account that you setup during the connection at: https://squareup.com

The Square Seller Dashboard has tons of great features including your transaction history, the ability to issue a refund, track payouts to your bank account, and export various reports for accounting and reconciliation.

Viewing Transactions

One time payments created by Payable Apps will appear in the Transactions section of the seller dashboard. If you are looking for an older transaction make sure you expand the transaction date selection to filter from a wider range.

If you select a specific transaction you will see the different data that is included from the Google Form for cross reference.

  • The Title of the Google Form will be used as the Square Order Source.

  • The Payable Order ID will be included in the Square Transaction memo / Note.

Exporting a Transaction Report for Reconciliation

Select the Export Icon for a given timeframe of transaction, then select Transactions CSV. The downloaded CSV file will contain the following items for cross reference.

The CSV File that will be downloaded will include the following rows:

  • Payment ID - Is the same ID listed in your Google Sheet as Payable Transaction ID

  • Description - Will be the line items selected in the Google Form

  • Order Reference ID - Will the Payable Order ID (eg. CD-LF-V9HJ)

  • Source - Will be the string 'Google From:' then the title from your given Google Form that was used.

Issuing a Refund

To issue a refund with square select the three dots then "Issue Refund" option on the page of a specific transaction.

Managing Subscriptions

If you have setup Google Forms that create subscriptions with square you will be able to see and manage those subscriptions by access the subscriptions section of the Square dashboard.

To Pause or Cancel a Subscription select it from your list of subscriptions then Pause or cancel from the subscription details.

In the notes of the subscription you will also be able to see which Payable Order ID was related to it's creation.

For subscriptions with Square the first payments will appear as a Keyed Web Payment, and the subsequent payments will appear in Square as Invoices.
